During my stay, I loved how close the hotel was to Lake Te Koutu and the beautiful Victoria Square, both just a few steps away, making it easy to enjoy morning strolls and soak in the scenic views. the superior twin room I choose was quiet and comfortable, ideal for a weekend escape.

The room was super spacious and had beautiful views of the lake. Super comfy beds with extra long pillows. Decor was modern and inviting. The bathroom had great Antipodes toiletries. Used the hot tub after biking and it was perfect. Loved the easy bike storage and fitness center. And the breakfast was delicious!

I had a great stay in the Superior Twin Room, which was spacious and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and the staff were friendly and attentive. It was a relaxing experience with comfortable beds and nice toiletries. However, it would have been nice to have a few complimentary water bottles available in the room.

The Superior Twin Room was clean and modern with a great shower pressure, complemented by delightful tea and coffee options. Enjoyed the mouth-watering Hungarian beef stew at dinner. it was a real highlight. The staff's warm service made the stay even better, though the location felt slightly removed from bustling areas.

I had a fantastic stay! The food was out of this world and beautifully presented. Breakfast felt like a gourmet experience, and the espresso coffee maker was a lovely touch. I’d definitely return!

The reception signage could use some improvement. a larger sign would help find it more easily. Coffee supply was lacking, and to make matters worse, the milk had expired four days prior to my stay. For a family of four, the room may feel cramped during a longer visit, but it suited us fine for a one-night break.

Consider requesting a room away from the elevator for a quieter stay, especially if you're sensitive to noise.

I enjoyed the spaciousness of the Two-Bedroom Apartment. The kitchen had everything we needed—big fridge, microwave, and a Nespresso machine. The bathroom was spacious and clean, great for a family of four with lots of bags. Loved the peaceful atmosphere and nice view from the first floor. Breakfast was delicious, especially the French toast. The kids got coloring books at breakfast, which was a nice touch. The hotel’s location near the downtown area was convenient. There was a supermarket just across the road. A few complimentary water bottles would have been nice, but that’s a small thing compared to the overall experience.

hidden lake hotel & apartments has a great location, just a short walk to shops and a cinema. the staff were very helpful, always ready to assist. We really enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant. the coffee was fantastic, too! our room was a nice size with lovely bathroom amenities.

i recently stayed here for valentine's day and it truly exceeded my expectations. the room was a spacious superior twin with modern decor and a lovely view of the lake, making for an inviting atmosphere. the on-site restaurant offered a delicious breakfast with freshly baked items and great coffee, making our mornings special.

the bar wasn’t open in the afternoon.
